Sprinkles of kindness and friendship x

It has been a turbulent and tiresome week, but nonetheless I am still trying to keep a positive mindset. At times, hospital can make you feel really isolated and secluded from society. Even if you are able to venture out of the hospital grounds, you still have that nagging thought that you have to stay there for a considerable amount of time.
It can be hard to resocalise back into every day life when coming out of hospital. Personally, I develop anxiety regarding school at times , as it can be really hard to keep up with work, or even interacting with teachers and student can be difficult. People tend to underestimate the effects, hospitals can have on indiviuals.
As someone with a long term health condition, social media has provided support and guidance for me at difficult times as I can communicate with other CFers, strengthen my knowledge about my condition and create amazing friendships. Thankfully due to social media, it has allowed me to communicate with different people from various walks of life therefore forming amazing bonds. It has allowed me to express my authenticity.
It is such a sensitive and worrying time in our society but I am certain that there is always kindness, care and friendship in society. Agents of socalisation such as the media just don't always show that.
If you go through anything in life, it really does help if you have a good support network. It helps if you have understanding and approachable people in your life. It takes NOTHING to be kind. It takes a second to take time out of your day and send a text message to someone. It takes a minute to pick up the phone and ask if someone is ok or if they need anything. Regardless of if somebody is in hospital, I feel like these things will just make a difference in someone's day.
It really is the little gestures that mean the most. I feel like in our society we rely heavily on materalistic items to make others feel better. Of course they do help, but sometimes just giving someone a hug or a phone call is enough to show someone kindess, friendship and compassion.
Have a brilliant week,
